Assistance systems for exact paving true to line and level

Edge Control

Tracking an edge with Edge Control uses the multi-cell sonic sensor to regulate screed width automatically along a tensioned wire. The screed uses this reference to extend or retract the relevant side automatically. The result is high-precision paving and reduced effort for operators.

Automatic screed width

Automatic screed width keeps screed width constant if the extending screed extends or retracts on one side of the paver. In combination with Edge Control, therefore, it is possible to operate at a set pave width the entire time, moving the whole screed along the tensioned wire.

Niveltronic Plus Assist

Niveltronic Plus Assist allows the value for crown and transverse profiles to be adapted automatically for a defined section. In combination with Edge Control and screed width measurement, this assistance system ensures smooth precision paving.

Niveltronic Plus Assist

Niveltronic Plus Assist automates the paving of both crown and transverse profiles. It is possible to define the desired slope at a target point using markings which are set. Niveltronic Plus Assist regulates the consistent approach to the value until the predefined point is reached, meaning that the operator does not have to make a gradual adjustment by hand. This effectively avoids “steps” between sections with differing transverse and crown profiles and achieves an even paving result.



Automatic screed width measurement

Screed width measurement means that extending screeds and hydraulic bolt-on extensions for fixed-width screeds do not need calibrating. The current set width is displayed on both paver operator’s and screed operator’s consoles.



AutoSet Plus – simple repositioning and save paving programs

AutoSet Plus repositioning function

Transport mode can be activated at the touch of a button using AutoSet Plus. All the settings required for transport are made automatically. Among other things, these include activating hydraulic Screed Freeze and briefly reversing the conveyors so that no material is dropped during transport. This makes it easier to switch between two sections.

AutoSet Plus save function for paving programs

The save function allows the operator to define paving programs for specific layers and to call them back up again any time at the touch of a button. Arrangements for saving and selecting paving programs in the menu are particularly straightforward.
