Basic structure of the Kleemann conveyor belts:
Different layers of solid rubber and fabric inlays give them their resistance power.
Kleemann offers different types and versions of conveyor belts for their crushing and screening plants. Operating companies and users should select them according to their applications.
Conveyor belts are essential components of crushing and screening plants. Their output has a strong influence on the overall plant performance. Their method of operation - the conveyance of stone - means that conveyor belts are subject to high loads. This is also one of the reasons that operating companies and users of Kleemann plants can select from different types and versions. Whether the belts are endless, open, ZIP CLIP, or with a smooth surface, profiled surface, cleated belts, or reinforced belts with cleats – all Kleemann conveyor belts meet the same requirement: maximum service lives.
Top performance for a long time: conveyor belts from Kleemann.
Kleemann conveyor belts have a multi-layer structure to meet the tough requirements in material preparation. The topmost layer is designed as a large-dimensioned rubber cover plate. After all, this carrying side is in direct contact with the material and is therefore subject to particularly high wear.
Below the rubber cover plate, woven fabric or steel rope inlays guarantee the required load-carrying capacity, shock resistance and resistance to the generated tensile forces. An additional rubber layer between the fabric layers protects them against mechanical wear and chemical effects on the conveyor belt. The lower rubber cover plate on the running side of the conveyor belt forms the end of the belt. It ensures smooth movement on the support rollers.
Different layers of solid rubber and fabric inlays give them their resistance power.
Kleemann offers further reinforced conveyor belts for particularly challenging applications.

To meet the various requirements, Kleemann offers three different conveyor belt systems that differ mainly with regard to assembly and disassembly.
The conveyor belts with the ZIP CLIP system are particularly easy to assemble – and thus save work time and costs during a change.
Plant downtimes mean production loss as fixed costs continue to accrue. With the ZIP CLIP solution from Kleemann, users can fit the spare belt quickly and efficiently. The belt is closed with a zip fastener. Work can continue directly after assembly – without time-consuming removal of the belt unit as with the endless belts and without an external service provider and curing time as with the open belts.
All three conveyor belt systems are available in different designs, with which operating companies and users can cater to the respective application and thus guarantee high productivity.
Kleemann application expert Ioannis Karademiroglou has some good tips for a fast conveyor belt change.
"Our customers place their trust in Kleemann plants because they can create high-quality mineral final products. And at a rate of several hundred tons an hour. Conversely, money is lost every hour that production cannot take place. This is why we make a great effort to guarantee a rapid conveyor belt change.
Damage and even tears in the belts cannot be avoided. Nor is it possible to determine exactly when a belt has to be changed. The higher the proportion of iron or sharp-edged material in the feed material, the higher the risk of damage to the conveyor belt.
In order that work can continue as soon as possible after a tear or serious damage to a conveyor belt, we introduced the ZIP CLIP conveyor belts. Apart from the short assembly time, their main advantage is that they allow operating companies and users to react independently. Commissioning of a service provider is not necessary.
The machine is ready for operation again directly after the belt change! I recommend that you always have at least one ZIP CLIP version in stock in addition to the frequently used belts. Operators can react quickly – without long machine standstills."
