General questions and advantages of usage


John Deere Operations Center™ provides a digital solutions platform for the management of entire construction sites – at any time and from anywhere, including planning, monitoring, maintenance and analysis. The Operations Center is aimed to become the hub between the operators and machines on the construction site and the office of the site manager and dispatcher – for more overview, efficiency, and productivity. Use integrated maintenance plans to easily plan your service intervals so you can improve the availability of your machines and maintain their value. The John Deere Operations Center™ helps you to make better decisions based on highly transparent data.


For all machines equipped with a Wirtgen Group telematics unit (TCU) or a John Deere telematics unit (MTG), telematics data can be shown in the John Deere Operations Center™. The scope of the data depends on what additional hardware has been installed on the machines for tracking performance data (WPT-Wirtgen Group Performance Tracker). Also non-WIRTGEN GROUP machines can be integrated in the John Deere Operations Center™.


The data collected at the machine is transmitted to the John Deere Operations Center™ via mobile data network. For that reason, a connection to a mobile data network is required in order to receive data in real-time.


The John Deere Operations Center™ is a cloud application. Therefore, additional hardware and software is not necessary. Any internet-enabled device with a browser is suitable to use the application. Mobile devices can also access the tool via the John Deere Operations Center™ app which is available for iOS and Android.


The availability of data within the John Deere Operations Center™ depends on the respective kind of data and machine, varying between 5 seconds and 60 minutes according to data type.

Usage & Onboarding


All customers of John Deere or local Wirtgen Group have access to the John Deere Operations. To create an account and to discuss your onboarding, please contact your local WIRTGEN GROUP contact partner .


Your dealer or your local Wirtgen Group subsidiary will help and guide you through the onboarding process.


New employees or partners can be added by the customers administrator directly in the application.

Connectivity with Third Party (Systems)


Yes, the John Deere Operations Center is open to other systems. All compatible machines from other manufacturers can be integrated into the Operations Center in the future. This will enable users to digitally manage and maintain their entire fleet. If you have specific questions about the possibility of integrating third-party manufacturers into the Operations Centre, please get in touch your local WIRTGEN GROUP contact partner .
