The Wirtgen Pick Finder benefits our customers with a comprehensive range of application-relevant technical expertise and information. To simplify the process, the operator is guided step-by-step through a short list of questions. The questions enable the selection of the machine class, the milling drum type to be used, the shaft diameter, the milling application and the material to be milled. It’s much easier than it sounds – all the possible options and selection criteria are stored in the system and can be picked from the corresponding drop-down lists.

First of all, the user must select the appropriate search criteria with the filter function. As soon as the filters have been selected and the criteria are entered, the Pick Finder runs a check in the background. Possible pick types and their relevant properties are directly compared with one another and the results are displayed right away. The results are sorted according to relevance if several picks come into question. In no time at all, a list is displayed that always shows the most highly recommended pick in first place.
