Compact, easy to transport and flexibility of use should characterise the new crushing plant for the demolition and recycling company Wohlfarth Baggerbetrieb. This is the decision was made to acquire a mobile jaw crushing plant MOBICAT MC 100 R EVO from KLEEMANN.
Wohlfarth Baggerbetrieb uses its crushing plant in the company's recycling yard in Waidhofen or in changing demolition sites which is why it was important for Herbert Wohlfarth that the new acquisition could be easily transported with his flat bed trailer. His attention was drawn to the Kleemann jaw crusher MC 100 R EVO at the bauma 2016 trade fair. Ralph Gruber from the Wirtgen Group subsidiary in Augsburg initially provided Herbert Wohlfarth with a demonstration machine to allow him to test it thoroughly. The MC 100 R EVO convinced him. The MOBICAT MC 100 R EVO has already been in use for a year and runs up around 150 operating hours a month. With an output of up to 220 tons an hour, he is very satisfied: "My previous crushing plant needed a whole working day for the material volume that the MC 100 R EVO prepares in 3-4 hours", says Herbert Wohlfarth. "Minor blockages in the crusher are corrected by the plant itself without having to interrupt operation." The plant has a Continuous Feed System (CFS) that controls the material supply in relation to the material flow and thus guarantees optimum utilisation of the crusher.
The flexible usage options and high hourly output were decisive reasons for Herbert Wohlfarth to acquire the MOBICAT MC 100 R EVO.
The compact Kleemann jaw crusher was last used in a residential area in Munich/Feldmoching during the demolition of two houses built in the 1970s. The rubble was composed mainly of concrete and bricks and was crushed from 0-700 mm to 0-50 mm. Within a few days, around 1,400 tons of rubble was prepared and filled into the excavation pits. With the help of a classifying screen, cables and wood were separated and the recycling material was classified exactly. The MC 100 R EVO is equipped with a spray system for dust reduction, which is important during operation in a residential area to protect residents against excessively high dust development. Irrespective of where the plant is used, Wirtgen Group Service is quickly on site. "Right from the initial machine instruction, I was thrilled by the Service employee. He described the plant down to the smallest detail. If we need a spare part for the plant, we can rely on Service fully and quickly obtain a solution", says Herbert Wohlfarth. He places a high value on the regular maintenance and care of the plant, which ensures that the service life of the MC 100 R EVO is as long as possible.
