They have joined forces to make it easier for young people to find and begin a career and improve contacts with industry and commerce.
In Mülheim an der Mosel, the Realschule Plus Neumagen-Drhon and BENNINGHOVEN have signed a collaboration agreement and are now participants in the “Strong Partners – Collaboration between Companies and Schools” project initiated by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Trier.
The main objective is to provide career orientation: BENNINGHOVEN will make work experience placements available to students at the schools and offer tours of the company’s facilities. In addition, the company will participate in parent-teacher meetings and present the recognized training occupations currently available within the company and the respective qualifications required by potential trainees. “The enormous variety of opportunities offered by working life enables everyone to make the best of their individual talents,” said Dr. Jan Glockauer, CEO of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Trier, at the signing of the collaboration agreement. “And, particularly in the phases before and during the transition to life after school, young people need a roadmap that provides the necessary orientation.”
We relocated to our new state-of-the-art factory and offices in Wittlich Wengerohr, situated by the Middle Moselle river between the cities of Koblenz and Trier in mid-2018. It is the world’s biggest and most modern plant for the production of asphalt mixing systems. If you are interested, please visit our training page.
