Vocational Training as an Electronic technician for automation technology (m/f/d) at Kleemann

The perfect start to your career

As an electronics technician for automation technology, you analyse functional connections and process sequences of automated systems and draft changes or extensions. You install electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic drive systems, install devices, assemble and configure sensor systems. The repair and elimination of malfunctions in automation systems are also included in your tasks.

Brief overview

Start of training: September
Duration of training: 3.5 years
Prerequisite: good Certificate of Secondary Education or A-levels
Subsequent place of work: assembly, commissioning, maintenance, programming, service

During the three and a half years of training, comprising an interaction of vocational school and company training, your instructors will prepare you for your subsequent career. Centred around a company training plan, you will spend time in different departments.

Furthermore, we offer company-internal instruction that accompanies the vocational school training (incl. English) to prepare you for examinations and later professional life.

If you perform well, we can offer you a take-over if the company situation permits this.

Course of training

  • Electrical workshop: here, you become familiar with the production of different single parts and component groups, which you subsequently have to reuse in assembly and have to install.
  • Final assembly: together with the team, you assemble the prefabricated parts into complex construction machines, test them and finally put them into operation.

Requirements

  • Craft skills (e.g. when installing and wiring switch devices)
  • Dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination (e.g. when installing and adjusting sensors)
  • Care (e.g. when evaluating system, diagnosis and process data)
  • Logical thinking and action (e.g. for troubleshooting and programming)
  • Technical comprehension (e.g. when installing and servicing individual components)
  • Flexibility (e.g. adjusting to changing work sites for the repair and installation of plants)
I feel very good as a trainee at KLEEMANN; the varied work means that I am learning a lot.
