Grade Assist

With the Grade Assist system from VÖGELE, the desired inclination at a target point can be defined using set markings. The automatic levelling system then regulates the uniform approach to the value until the predefined point is reached, so that the operator does not have to make gradual adjustments by hand. This effectively avoids “steps” between sections with differing transverse and crown profiles and achieves an even paving result. With the introduction of assistance and automation solutions at WIRTGEN GROUP, Niveltronic Plus Assist becomes the Grade Assist solution.

With the Grade Assist option, the parameters for crown and transverse profile paving can be preset and monitored on the paver operator’s console and on the display of the screed console.
