We are seeking a
Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager will generate, publish and monitor marketing and related statistics to support the strategic plans and initiatives of Wirtgen America, Inc. The ideas candidate will provides timely and quantitative analysis to drive and react to short- and long-term business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the preparation of annual marketing plan including long- and short-term strategies.
Establishes and maintains the inventory management and planning process.
Works with dealer channel to establish appropriate dealer inventory and orders that support sales and market share objectives.
Analyzes dealer inventory reports, provides feedback, and takes corrective action when necessary.
Manages dealer business plans, establishing goals that meet company objectives; provides continuous follow-up with dealers and appropriate stakeholders to ensure successful plan execution.
Collaborates closely with John Deere Construction & Forestry Division on improvements to the business planning process.
Reviews dealer performance reports and communicates key performance indicators to dealers.
Evaluates and recommends finance programs to the dealer network.
Proposes, budgets, and executes tactical programs to drive sales and order activity.
Resolves conflicts and facilitates changes to ensure objective fulfillment and swift response to marketing problems and opportunities.
Guides preparation of marketing and statistical activity reports.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a business development manager or similar role.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, business strategy, and client relationship management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
Ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with company goals.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
Familiarity with industry-specific tools and platforms.
Ability to develop relationships that will help foster opportunities for big market growth.
Thoroughly understand business prospects and key value drivers by driving two-way communication.
Knowledge and proficient utilization of MS office programs, specifically Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, etc.), Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Education and Experience::
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Experience in developing strategic partnerships and alliances.
