We are seeking a
Technical Trainer (Crushing/Screening)
This position will have a primary focus on mineral crushing and screening technology and deliver high quality service and sales training while planning, developing and scheduling the training, as well as continuing to develop and support the dealer network through learning relationships and content delivery.Job Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct educational programs and training courses for dealers and customers.(at the Center for Training & Technology, onsite locations & virtually)
Promptly reacts to and resolves dealer/customer questions, issues, or concerns in regard to training
Consults with sales, service, or administrative staff to answer or advise dealer/customer
Support the service and sales department with customer/dealer visits
Receive and process training request
Reviews completed training material orders for accuracy and detail (quantity, delivery dates, item numbers, special notes)
Stays informed on training schedule, machine availability, guest instructors needs, onsite training planning/scheduling, and self-development
Creates reports and helps develop ideas to continue improving dealer/customer learning needs and experience
Assists with other training tasks when the need arises
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated experience as a technical trainer in formal and/or informal settings
Knowledge of modern training techniques
Experience in designing technical course content
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to groups
Proven field service experience in the heavy equipment industry (automotive, heavy equipment, construction, agriculture, etc.)
Associate’s degree (A.S or A.A.S or A.A.B.) or minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and training experience
Maintains consistent team approach
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software
Certification such as CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus
