The German Design Award is regarded across different industrial sectors as one of the most prestigious international awards in the design scene. On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the Award centres on future-oriented designs, new digital technologies and climate-neutral production. The "Gold" award is the highest award conferred by the German Design Award for an excellent holistic and innovative design achievement.

Whether as an individual application or as an interlinked combination of plants – the two crushing plants of the EVO2 generation were developed by Kleemann to meet high economic and ecological requirements. The combination of the technology with consistent stylistic elements ultimately produced a superior design concept worthy of the two prestigious international design awards. The Good Design Award was also conferred on the mobile jaw crusher and the mobile cone crusher from Kleemann. This design competition has presented awards for over 70 years for innovative excellence. The award-winning products must not only have extraordinary designs and aesthetics but, above all, demonstrate innovative strength, functionality and energy efficiency. In the category Industry Design, the powerful design of the new crushing plants also impressed the jurors in the US award.
