PaveDock Assistant

The perfect duo for paving

To achieve high-quality and even paving, a constant material feed is needed. To this end, VÖGELE optimised the PaveDock Assistant assistant system and the spring-loaded impression beam PaveDock for the Dash 5 paver generation.

PaveDock Assistant

The PaveDock Assistant supports the construction site team with simple and clear symbols when handing over the mix. The core of the communication system is formed by the signal lights mounted on the right and left of the paver’s hardtop and the associated controls on the paver operator’s ErgoPlus 5 console. The paver operator can coordinate with the driver of the feed vehicle using two clear signals – green for docking and red for stopping.

The signal lights

The signal lights on the roof of the paver have two signals: Green for docking and red for stopping. They are also clearly visible in difficult light conditions or at night-time construction sites.

The control elements

The user-friendly controls for the PaveDock Assistant signal lights are available on the ErgoPlus 5 paver operator’s console .

PaveDock

The PaveDock ensures a higher pave quality: The sprung push-rollers efficiently absorb jolts from feed vehicles, preventing such jolts being transmitted to the paver and thus to the asphalt. The push-rollers also oscillate, allowing trucks to be pushed, even on bends.

The push rollers

Large push-rollers, oscillating on the pressure beam, enable convenient and shock-free docking of feed vehicles, even in curves. They can be adjusted forwards in the longitudinal direction to adapt them to the geometry of the feed vehicle.

Reflecting markings

For easier docking of the mix truck, the container front protection skirts have reflective markings on the left and right. They make it easier for the truck to dock in the centre. The markings are part of the Niveltronic Plus Assist package.
