Our factories

The WIRTGEN GROUP manufactures its products at eight factories around the world. at five individual brand headquarters in Germany, the Ciber factory in Brazil, and one multi-brand factory each in China and India.

The Wirtgen GmbH factory site

WIRTGEN in Windhagen

Over the years, what began life as a building material haulage contractor in 1961 grew to become the largest headquarters in the WIRTGEN GROUP. Today, the WIRTGEN factory in Windhagen, in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, manufactures cutting-edge road and mineral technologies. The production of road milling machines, cold recyclers, soil stabilisers, slipform pavers and Surface Miners requires extremely versatile production systems and the highest possible degree of vertical integration.

VÖGELE in Ludwigshafen

Our highly trained and motivated employees produce the world’s most advanced road pavers, paving screeds and mobile material feeders at our factory in Ludwigshafen. VÖGELE’s factory was completely rebuilt in 2010 and is now the world’s most advanced manufacturing facility for road pavers.

The HAMM factory: At the Tirschenreuth site in the Upper Palatinate region of Germany, our employees have been manufacturing the world-renowned HAMM rollers in highest quality with cutting-edge design for over 135 years. Here, in the birthplace of modern compaction technology, we manufacture compactors, tandem rollers, and pneumatic-tyre rollers in synchronized assembly in large and modern assembly halls.

The Kleemann GmbH factory site

KLEEMANN in Göppingen

As early as in the 1920s, KLEEMANN was already producing crushing and screening plants for the processing of quarried rock and stone. All of the company’s production processes from prefabrication to final assembly are gathered together under one roof at the new KLEEMANN factory built in 2009 in Göppingen. All of the company’s plants are manufactured with the highest degree of precision.

Founded in 1909 as a small workshop, BENNINGHOVEN is today a pacesetter in the field of asphalt mixing plants and associated burner technologies. The opening of the world’s most advanced factory for the production of asphalt mixing plants in Wittlich in the summer of 2018 was a further landmark in our commitment to offering our customers the best possible solutions when it comes to the efficient production of highest quality asphalt mixes.
