AutoTrac enables automatic screed width control using the Edge Control stringline follower, the Edge Detection edge follower and the fixed screed width setting. Users can also steer the paver automatically with the automated steering control system.

Grade Assist

Grade Assist allows the value for crown and transverse profiles to be adapted automatically for a defined section. In combination with Edge Control and screed width measurement, this assistance system ensures smooth precision paving.

Grade Assist

Grade Assist automates the paving of both crown and transverse profiles. It is possible to define the desired slope at a target point using markings which are set. Grade Assist regulates the consistent approach to the value until the predefined point is reached, meaning that the operator does not have to make a gradual adjustment by hand. This effectively avoids “steps” between sections with differing transverse and crown profiles and achieves an even paving result.

Automatic screed width measurement

Screed width measurement means that extending screeds and hydraulic bolt-on extensions for fixed-width screeds do not need calibrating. The current set width is displayed on both paver operator’s and screed operator’s consoles.



Pave Assist Plus

With Pave Assist Plus, VÖGELE takes the strain off site teams by allowing paving-relevant settings to be saved and called up again. Moving a Dash 5 paver between construction sections is also automated thanks to the assistance system.
