Wirtgen Malaysia consecutively awarded by The BrandLaureate

During a Gala Dinner on March 1, 2017 at the Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Ir. Pok Sum Loong was decorated the BrandLeadership Award 2016 - 2017. According to the committee Ir. Pok Sum Loong as the Managing Director of Wirtgen Malaysia, “has built on the brand from just being a supplier of machinery to one that provides holistic solutions to the industry. The position of Wirtgen Group as the technology and market leader has made it the preferred brand amongst customers. Its high Standard Operating Procedures and quality solutions have assisted its customers to achieve better desired results for their business.”

In addition to the BrandLeadership Award Wirtgen Malaysia was granted the Brand of Distinction Award 2016 – 2017.

Originally founded as Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF) in 2005, The BrandLaureate aims to promote brands, improve best branding practices and establish good brand culture in business. The APBF is led by its Patron, H.E. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia’s fourth Prime Minister, together with a Board of Governors who are experienced captains of industry and brand icons.

In 2016 Wirtgen Malaysia received the Award in the category Best Brands in Industrial – Road Construction Solutions.
