We are seeking a

Technical Sales Manager - South East territory (NC, SC, GA, AL, FL, MS)

The Technical Sales Manager for the KLEEMANN brand has responsibilities including developing and supporting our network of dealers in the United States and Canada. Product knowledge with crushing and screening equipment is essential as the candidate will be required to specify, design and assist in recommending the required equipment for the customer. Sales and business development in mining/aggregate industries strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical sales assistance to the dealer and sales team. Develops target and prospective customers as potential sales leads.
  • Engaged in industry relationships through construction, mining and mineral trade associations, and networks with dealers and develops relationships.
  • Travels 70% to call on established and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
  • Recommends specific standard or modified equipment best suited for customer's use.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions; maintains customer sales database.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer challenges/issues from a commercial and managerial position
  • Manage as liaison between manufacturer and dealer.
  • Drive results via distribution system partners and/or direct end customers.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 3+ years of direct experience working with crushing and screening equipment in sales, service or manufacturing capacities
  • A minimum 3-5 years of experience with mechanical background in heavy construction equipment


Other Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong and effective communication skills;
  • Proven negotiation and sales skills
  • Ability to interpret, understand and build key relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to coordinate and schedule priorities and work independently
