General information & practical benefits

The John Deere Operations Center™ is a centralised platform for digital solutions for the management of entire construction sites - at any time and from anywhere, including planning, monitoring, maintenance and analysis. The John Deere Operations Center™ will serve as the interface between operators and machines on the construction site and the offices of site managers and resource planners. In this role, it will guarantee greater transparency, higher efficiency, and increased productivity. For further information, please visit: The John Deere Operations Center™

It enables you to monitor the progress of your construction project, increase the availability and value retention of your machines and maximise productivity and efficiency – all in one place. You can also use integrated maintenance schedules to easily plan maintenance intervals and thus improve the availability of your machines and retain their value. The John Deere Operations Center™ helps you to make better decisions on the basis of transparent and validated data.

The John Deere Operations Center™ is available for all machines that are equipped with a Wirtgen Group Telematics Control Unit (TCU) or a John Deere Modular Telematics Gateway (MTG). The extent of the data available to you depends on the additional equipment installed on your machine, for example Wirtgen Group Performance Tracker (WTP), which additionally enables the display of performance data. Machines not manufactured by the Wirtgen Group can also be integrated in the John Deere Operations Center™.

The data collected on the machine are transferred to the John Deere Operations Center™ via the respective mobile data network. This is why a connection to a mobile data network is an essential prerequisite for receiving data in real-time.

The John Deere Operations Center™ is a cloud-based application that requires no additional hardware or software. The application can be used with every device that is connected to the Internet and provides a browser. An app is available for use on mobile devices with either iOS or Android operating systems.

The availability of the data depends on the corresponding data category or, respectively, the machine type, and varies between a transfer frequency of every 6 seconds to up to 60 minutes.
