Curbs, safety barriers on highways, gullies to drain water – concrete can be molded into many shapes. Such concrete profiles can be produced easily and cost-effectively using offset slipforming technology.

For offset slipforming, material is normally transferred to the filling hopper from a concrete mixer truck. The material is transported into the slipform via a swivel-mounted conveyor belt or a swivel-mounted auger conveyor. The slipform produces the monolithic profile as the offset paver moves forward. The range of possible shapes and sizes is immense, from such common shapes as the New Jersey profile to customized solutions.

Offset applications extend from roadway curbing and crash barriers with a maximum height of 78" (2 m) to narrow paths. Offset paving is quick and efficient when compared to manual placement of prefabricated elements.
