The Road Passion

Currently under construction in the “Hafen Dresden-Friedrichstadt”, the city’s port on the river Elbe, is a state-of-the art TrailerPort for rail-road transshipment requiring a particularly stable, high-quality cement-treated base layer. The recycling project was speeded up by the use of a WRC 240i Rock Crusher as a particularly cost-efficient solution for in-situ preparation of the site.

Vögele‘s smallest paver has renewed and widened the shoulder on Swiss cantonal road T9 near Raron. The MINI 500 paved the area to the side of the carriageway at a width of just 0.9 m to 1.35 m without interruption and to a high standard.

Wirtgen Group machines delivered impressive performance during the resurfacing of the Formula 1 racing circuit around the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Thanks to the use of smart technologies, it was possible to pave the new surface layer with absolute precision.

Top asphalt quality for fast cars: The Russian construction company Tekhalyans, responsible for resurfacing and maintaining the Sochi Autodrom, relies on the new high-tech TBA 3000 plant for this work. A high mixing capacity, more process reliability, less energy consumption and resource-friendly use of recycled materials – these aspects speak for themselves. Top quality for top speeds up to 320 km/h!
