The Road Passion

The L98 road along the Moselle river in Germany is an essential part of this economic region’s infrastructure. In the area around the municipality of Beilstein, a section of the road with a length of close to three kilometres was structurally rehabilitated with a WRC 240i Rock Crusher from Wirtgen.

Skanska is piloting zero local emission compaction with the battery-powered HD 12e VV on its Purple Line subway extension project in Los Angeles. The 2.7-tonne tandem roller is one of the first all-electric tandem rollers to be deployed on an ongoing construction project in the USA.

Top asphalt quality for fast cars: The Russian construction company Tekhalyans, responsible for resurfacing and maintaining the Sochi Autodrom, relies on the new high-tech TBA 3000 plant for this work.
