Round-Shank Picks – The Ideal Solution for Concrete Milling

GENERATION round-shank picks have been developed especially for concrete and asphalt milling with ECO Cutter milling drums. In combination with the shortened clamping sleeve, the optimized pick shank ideally conducts the milling forces to the top part of the toolholder and relieves the forces acting on the clamping sleeve. The shortened clamping sleeve precisely and permanently secures the round-shank pick in the toolholder. The modified shank geometry further increases the fracture toughness.

All in all, GENERATION round-shank picks offer improved carbide distribution, better cutting performance, and increased fracture toughness. The heavy-duty steel body geometry improves chip removal and extends the picks’ service life.
