Different configurations of cutting drums and cutting tools are available for each machine type, depending on the material to be mined. Based on material properties and stone hardness, WIRTGEN experts work closely with the customer to arrive at an optimal solution with regard to cross-section diameter, tool spacing of the cutting tools, holder webs and other special accessories intended for wear resistance.
