High-Performance In Situ Rock Crushing and Homogeneous Mixing

• The WIRTGEN ROCK CRUSHER based on the WR 240 X platform enables the crushing of rocks, hard cores, concrete fragments, or cobblestones at production rates of up to 600 t/h (machine advance rate: ~7 m/min).
• The chassis of the WRC 240 X has been reinforced and optimized with a focus on its primary applications. Additionally equipped with a crushing unit – consisting of a material infeed flap, variable and fixed crushing stages, a crushing and mixing rotor, special rotor transmission (rotor speed ~250 rpm) with active cooling, outfeed gratings and a scraper plate – the machine is ideally equipped for the crushing of hard rocks/ fragments with uniaxial compressive strengths of up to 200 MPa.
• The WRC 240 X is designed for processing – crushing and homogenizing – unbound materials and less compact soils interspersed with coarse stones: Cultivation (soil improvement/ agriculture), road construction (crushing of concrete fragments and hard cores), soil treatment/ soil stabilization, maintenance of mine roads, etc.
• The intuitive man-machine interface (MMI) of the X-Tier model provides comprehensive assistance for proper operation to increase the in-situ crushing/ mixing quality of the construction material being produced and to boost machine productivity.
• The MIX ASSIST digital components and the WIRTGEN GROUP COPILOT enable significantly greater efficiency, which in turn leads to considerably lower operating costs per square meter.
