Robust, manœuvrable and easy to operate
The SUPER 1403 wheeled paver is an all-rounder with great mobility. Its compact dimensions ensure that the paver stands out with its excellent manœuvrability, making it ideal for a variety of different applications. The paver’s statically defined undercarriage ensures that its powered wheels remain in continuous ground contact. Combined with the AB 480 Extending Screed, its maximum pave width is 6 m.

ErgoBasic
The ErgoBasic operating concept was designed on the back of the tried and tested ErgoPlus operating system for our Premium Line pavers and tailored specifically to meet the demands and needs of VÖGELE Classic Line users.
The goal was to develop an operating system which can be operated just as quickly, accurately and intuitively as the ErgoPlus 3 system on the “Dash 3” machines.
Pivot Steer – the steering brake
The new standard Pivot Steer function makes the SUPER wheeled pavers almost as nimble as the tracked pavers: a minimal inner turning circle enables the machines to turn virtually on the spot. This is a huge advantage, particularly on cramped job sites, such as those found in urban environments.
Niveltronic Basic
VÖGELE has also developed the Niveltronic Basic System for Automated Grade and Slope Control to match the ErgoBasic operating concept. It is completely integrated in the machine control system and therefore perfectly adapted to the paver model concerned. Another outstanding aspect of Niveltronic Basic is its particularly simple and intuitive handling, a feature which makes it easy even for less experienced operators to use the system correctly. This creates ideal conditions for the Classic Line pavers to work true to line and level on any base.
