The motto in France: Smarter. Safer. More Sustainable.
The Wirtgen Group draws positive conclusions after the end of the Intermat show in Paris. Numerous professional visitors to the 700 square metre stand showed particular interest in our products and technologies and enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the details of them with our experts at the show and learn more about low-emission technologies and applications from Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann and Benninghoven.
Throughout the construction industry, we have identified a strong fundamental need for a smarter, safer and more sustainable road construction process chain and more efficient extraction and processing of materials. The reduction of CO₂ emissions in the construction industry can already be realised whenever we like. The Wirtgen Group showed how it can be done with its powerful technologies and a broad spectrum of innovative potential solutions.
“The visitor’s experience and interest in Wirtgen Group’s sustainable product innovations were simply remarkable.”
Antoine Mayolle, Managing Director Wirtgen France
Among the highlights at the show were two exhibits that were being shown for the first time at an industry fair in France. The new MOBIREX MR 100(i) NEO/NEOe mobile impact crusher from Kleemann drew a lot of attention from visitors to the show. The machine is efficient, powerful and extremely flexible – and the NEOe version of the impact crusher makes all-electric operation a viable option.
Road construction contractors using the Vögele SUPER 1900-5(i) road paver are ideally prepared for whatever the future may bring. Thanks to an innovative and flexible modular system which, in addition to user-friendly operating and process automation, also sets a focus on issues such as cost-efficiency and sustainability.
The new compact milling machine W 150 Fi from Wirtgen was another highlight of the show. With a milling width of 1.80 m, this model is the ideal choice for use on major construction sites with restricted space, for example in city centres. Amongst other things, digital assistance and levelling systems enable higher milling performance with lower fuel consumption.
On the way to making the future of road construction more sustainable, the greatest potentials lie in the area of asphalt production. The already successfully implemented 100% green hydrogen system from Benninghoven shows the greatest potential in this respect. For asphalt producers, the stand with the presentation of the latest burner generation was one of the show’s biggest attractions.
