New compactors and tandem rollers at Bauma 2025

World premieres and pioneering technologies for compaction in asphalt construction and earthworks

Digital, efficient and safe – Hamm at Bauma 2025

Roller manufacturer Hamm unveils multiple world exclusives at the world’s most important trade show for the construction machinery sector. There is a particular focus not only on new compactors and tandem rollers, but also on digital solutions for automation and for monitoring, documenting and analysing operations on site. Technologies for low-consumption and low-emission compaction also take centre stage.

Groundbreaking technologies to automate compaction

With Smart Compact Pro, Hamm presents a trailblazing world exclusive, which will significantly improve the service life of roads and therefore the value of taxpayers’ money, while also dramatically reducing the costs borne by the contractor. As such, Smart Compact Pro heralds the dawn of a new era of asphalt compaction for construction companies and operators. For the earthworks sector too, the roller manufacturer will be providing a first look at products and technologies for the automation of compaction processes, which represent huge potential for compaction quality and process reliability.

New models added to the machine portfolio

Hamm presents a series of new models for tandem rollers and compactors alike. For instance, the HD 10–HD 12 G-Tier (EU Stage V) and HD 90–HD 110 P-Tier (Tier 3) tandem rollers will be on display. Another Bauma premiere is taking place with the unveiling of the HC 110–HC 130 G-Tier compactors, which were initially launched in 2024 for several countries in Latin America.

More battery-powered electric tandem rollers

Following on from the successful market launch of the HD 10e–HD 12e battery-powered electric tandem rollers, visitors to the exhibition can look forward to a wider portfolio of electric rollers. Plus, Hamm will be presenting new charging infrastructure solutions for the compact tandem rollers already established on the market.

World premieres for compaction documentation and control

It is becoming increasingly important to ensure operations on construction sites are monitored, documented and analysed. With Track Assist and WPT Compacting, Hamm presents two new solutions that efficiently meet the needs of roller drivers, construction managers and foremen. Visitors can gain a more detailed overview in the Wirtgen Group Technology Zone.
